A celebration of street culture
Launceston’s laneways came alive on Saturday 28 March for Thoroughfare, a full‑day celebration of street culture, creativity and connection. The city was filled with art, skateboarding, music and food, turning familiar streets into places to hang out, explore and discover something new.
With acclaimed artists creating large‑scale murals, a live music lineup, food and drink stalls, live skate demonstrations and more, there was something for everyone at Thoroughfare.
Produced by the City of Launceston, this free event celebrated the city’s evolving urban culture and the creative energy that thrives in its streets and laneways.
